9/22/2017 Jarrad Davis, Det, LB
Lions linebacker Jarrad Davis has been ruled out of Sunday's game against Atlanta because of a concussion.

Analysis: Davis, the team's first-round draft pick this year, was hurt in Monday's victory over the New York Giants. The Lions have also ruled out running back Dwayne Washington with a quadriceps injury and safety Tavon Wilson with a shoulder injury. Center Travis Swanson is questionable for Sunday with an ankle injury and did not practice Friday.
9/22/2017 Chris Hogan, NE, WR
Hogan was listed as questionable for Sunday's game with a knee injury.

Analysis: The Patriots have been known to play with the injury list a little bit and we expect Hogan will be fine to face the Texans.
9/22/2017 Dont'a Hightower, NE, LB
Hightower is questionable for this weekend's game against the Texans due to an ongoing knee injury.

Analysis: Hightower missed last week but obviously the Patriots hope he can return this weekend.
9/22/2017 J.J. Nelson, Ari, WR
Nelson was limited at practice on Friday because of a hamstring issue.

Analysis: This is big news after Nelson was a hot waiver pickup this week. He was also limited on Thursday, but is expected to give it a go on Sunday.
9/22/2017 Ra'Shede Hageman, Atl, DT
Hageman was suspended six games by the NFL on Friday for violating the league's personal conduct policy. Hageman is being disciplined for a March 2016 arrest on domestic violence charges involving his then-girlfriend.

Analysis: He was placed on the commissioner's exempt list on the day of the league-wide cutdown to 53 players and then waived by the Falcons two days later. Hageman, a second-round pick in 2014, had 18 tackles and two sacks last season.
9/22/2017 Ezekiel Elliott, Dal, RB
The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will hold a hearing on Oct. 2 to hear arguments on the NFL emergency motion in Elliott's case. Elliott received a preliminary injunction on Sept. 18 that allowed him to continue to play for the Dallas Cowboys despite the NFL handing him a six-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy. The NFL is seeking to have Elliott serve his suspension immediately.

Analysis: The date of the hearing assures that the running back can play against the Arizona Cardinals on Monday and against the Los Angeles Rams the following Sunday. Elliott recorded just 112 yards on 33 carries in two games this season after leading the NFL with 1,631 rushing yards last season as a rookie.
9/22/2017 Torrey Smith, Phi, WR
Smith (illness) is questionable for Sunday's game against the New York Giants.

Analysis: Smith had 96 yards on five catches in the first two games.
9/21/2017 Kyle Juszczyk, SF, RB
Juszczyk has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Rams after sustaining a neck injury in the third quarter.

Analysis: A 2016 Pro Bowl selection with the Ravens who signed a four-year contract with San Francisco in March, Juszczyk is a strong blocker and receiver who had a 34-yard catch prior to departing. Carlos Hyde's production could be negatively affected if the fullback misses any additional time.
9/21/2017 Lamarcus Joyner, LAR, S
Joyner exited Thursday's game at San Francisco in the second quarter with a hamstring injury and will not return.

Analysis: Though the Rams may not need their starting free safety against the 49ers' punchless offense, an extended absence would be concerning for a secondary that's already without cornerback Kayvon Webster. Joyner entered Thursday's matchup with 13 tackles in two games and returned an interception 29 yards for a touchdown in Los Angeles' Week 1 win over the Colts.
9/21/2017 Bennie Fowler, Den, WR
Fowler, who was a big waiver wire pick up after his two-touchdown opener, missed his second straight practice on Thursday.

Analysis: Fowler suffered a concussion in Denver's rout of Dallas and it certainly doesn't look like he's going to play this week.
9/21/2017 Carlos Hyde, SF, RB
Hyde left Thursday night's game briefly due to a hip injury.

Analysis: He returned in the second quarter and appears to be OK.
9/21/2017 Melvin Gordon, LAC, RB
Gordon popped up on the injured report Thursday with a knee issue. He was limited on Friday.

Analysis: Though it's a bit alarming, we feel like the Chargers are just playing it safe with their stud running back and expect Gordon to be out there this weekend.
9/21/2017 Marlon Mack, Ind, RB
Mack has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Browns because of a shoulder injury.

Analysis: Mack was limited in practice Wednesday and didn't take part Thursday. There had been talk recently that Mack and Frank Gore would be sharing the workload, but now Mack won't play at all. He's being replaced on the roster by ex-Redskin Matt Jones, but Mack's absence most benefits Gore and Robert Turbin.
9/21/2017 Vontae Davis, Ind, CB
Davis (groin) was limited in practice Thursday and was downgraded to doubtful for Week 3.

Analysis: The Colts, who have struggled on defense, hope to have their top cornerback available in Week 4.
9/21/2017 Cam Newton, Car, QB
Newton is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints but is fully expected to play.

Analysis: Not that his playing status is in any doubt for Week 3, but Newton is clearly not 100 percent. He was limited in practice Thursday due to shoulder and ankle problems.
9/21/2017 DeVante Parker, Mia, WR
Parker (ankle) practiced Friday after not doing so Thursday and being limited Wednesday. He's expected to play Sunday against the Jets.

Analysis: This is supposedly nothing more than a mild sprain and he should be good to go in Week 3, though it's possible the speedster won't be as fast down the field as usual.
9/21/2017 Randall Cobb, GB, WR
Cobb (chest) didn't practice again on Friday and is now considered doubtful for this weekend's game.

Analysis: Though a recent MRI on his shoulder was negative, Cobb is likely to sit out this week's game against the Bengals. Fantasy owners should seek other options.
9/21/2017 Nick Perry, GB, LB
Perry is scheduled to undergo surgery on his hand for the second straight year.

Analysis: Coach Mike McCarthy announced the news on Thursday, but did not reveal how long Perry will be sidelined or even if the injury will keep him out of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals (0-2). "Until we get through the surgery, I don't really have a timeline for you," McCarthy said. Perry, who has seven tackles and 1.5 sacks this season, played 53 of the 58 defensive snaps in Sunday's 34-23 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
9/21/2017 Jeremy Langford, Bal, RB
The Ravens have placed Langford on IR.

Analysis: Langford sustained an undisclosed injury during a special teams drill on Wednesday, according to the Baltimore Sun. The third-year running back had been re-signed by Baltimore on Tuesday and becomes the 16th player that the Ravens have placed on injured reserve.
9/21/2017 Dak Prescott, Dal, QB
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett confirmed Thursday that Prescott's ankle injury is not serious and should not limit him going forward.

Analysis: Garrett revealed the ankle problem Monday, but there's no reason to think this will stop Prescott from playing in Week 3. However, it does seem possible it could limit his mobility and make him a less effective scrambler.
